Protein powder….hmmm…
What a highly debatable subject! Being a Bariatric dietitian, I’ve tried my fair share of protein powders (yes, some taste like medical tape, others are delicious). My favorite? Jay Robb’s. I’m a big fan for three main reasons. First, it’s truly all-natural. No artificial sweeteners. (That in and of itself is a debated subject, but more on that later). Second, its cold-processed, cross-flow microfiltered whey protein isolate. Think of whey protein isolate as the “pure water” of protein; it’s easily absorbed and utilized by the body. Finally, it tastes great! Did I say it tastes great? The vanilla is fantastic, the chocolate delightful. Never been disappointed in how my protein shakes or antioxidant-powered shakes taste.
